Heather Stayrook —
Multimedia Developer
Please introduce yourself and describe, in broad terms, what you do for Delex.
My name is Heather Stayrook and I am a Multimedia Developer for Delex. As a Multimedia Developer, I develop and edit Web-based tutorials and assist in various aspects of the development process including interaction with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, and other developers. I have a strong interest in instructional design and technology and am currently receiving a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Instructional Design from Virginia Tech.
How do you feel about your work environment?
There is a nice balance of working independently and in a team environment. Interaction with my peers allows me to learn a great deal from them while completing given tasks. I like the combination of professionalism and friendliness and the positive attitudes that my peers convey.
What skills have you learned or developed at Delex?
While at Delex, I have learned not only how to plan and develop Web-based courseware, but also the technology and creativity used in the process. I have also learned how to accomplish this in a team environment.
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment at Delex?
I have positively contributed to the creation of training systems that are used by customers from around the world and have achieved success in delivering reliable, informative products.
