Leadership Team Bio: VP Martin J. (Marty) Keany
Marty Keaney is an experienced manager and leader who joined Delex Systems Inc in January 2008 as Director of Business Development – Maritime,
after completing a 27 year career as a Naval Aviator with significant operational experience to include command and major command at sea.
In October of 2009, he was named Vice President, Advanced Systems Division.
Marty's operational tours were as an anti-submarine helicopter pilot and as an amphibious assault senior officer.
He commanded Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Five One (HSL-51) and USS ESSEX (LHD-2).
Ashore Marty's tours included fixed wing and helicopter pilot and tactical training, Navy senior officer policy and senior operations management,
JFCOM C4ISR interim solutions program and Department of the Navy Secretariat policy positions. Additionally, he was designated a Joint Specialty Officer.
Marty has a BS from the University of South Carolina, a graduate of the Joint Forces Staff College and the US Air Force Command and Staff College.
